HRMC to Host Joint Pain Seminars
April 15, 2021
Area residents dealing with joint pain are invited to attend one of two joint pain seminars on Tuesday, May 4, or Thursday, June 10, at 5:30 p.m. at Huron Regional Medical Center’s Legacy Plaza Auditorium.
“Joint pain can be caused by a variety of factors including injury, arthritis or overuse,” explains Dr. Todd Anderson, board-certified orthopedic surgeon at HRMC Physicians Clinic. “There’s also many treatment options available today to reduce and treat joint pain.”
Dr. Anderson has cared for all types of muscle, joint and bone injuries for more than 30 years and specializes in total joint replacement, trauma surgery and sports medicine.
“My approach to treatment tends to be more conservative and it starts with understanding the patient, their lifestyle and any other things going on in their lives that will affect their ability to participate in their care,” says Dr. Anderson. “Ultimately, the treatment of every patient is a team effort – and the most important member of the team is the patient.”
During the seminar, which is available in-person or via Zoom, Dr. Anderson will share information about the causes of pain, rehabilitation and physical therapy options, pain management solutions and whether surgery is right for you.

RSVPs are appreciated so that we can plan for proper social distancing and refreshments at the in-person events and so we can provide the Zoom link via email if you choose to attend virtually.
